Queens Baton Relay #glasgow2014

On Sunday 20th July the Queens Baton Relay arrived in Glasgow and travelled throughout the North East. Myself and some young people from Bolt FM tracked the baton from Ruchazie to the Springburn Park Celebrations where the baton finished. Camglen Radio “Up in Smoke”

Camglen Radio has recently produced a short radio feature titled "Up in Smoke" for NHS Lanarkshire. The programme created by Camglen Radio volunteers looks at the issue of smoking in Cambuslang & Rutherglen and addresses some of the key services in place to help smokers quit. Kelvingrove Bandstand regeneration #photography

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to be given access and take a guided tour round the Kelvingrove Bandstand site. Currently the bandstand is undergoing major regeneration to bring the venue back and fit for purpose, which should hopefully be complete well before the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Social Media: Less is more – enhancing creativity?

Earlier this year Twitter's CEO Dick Costolo became the first person to share a Vine  on the micro-blogging platform. Users have commented on Vine as being the Instagram of video, allowing users up to 6 seconds to create a short video. International Community Media Day 2013
